About Us
Dr. Cameron B. Cook is a workforce development leader, educator, and consultant with more than a decade of experience designing and managing programs that strengthen career readiness, employer engagement, and student success. He currently directs Coast Forward, where he partners with businesses, nonprofits, and higher education institutions to create hiring pipelines that reduce costs for employers and expand opportunities for job seekers.
Dr. Cook’s career spans leadership in higher education, workforce development, and community engagement. He has designed, developed, and managed several dynamic student affairs departments and created workforce related programs in each of his centers. He has also served in many related roles over the past ten years, including workforce development consultant, career center manager, and workforce employment manager. Dr. Cook was also honored to be a professor for career and professional development courses, blending real-world industry knowledge with classroom learning to prepare students for successful transitions into the workforce.
His background as both a hiring manager and job seeker informs his approach to consulting and advising. He has firsthand experience navigating the challenges of recruitment, retention, and career transitions, which drives his commitment to simplifying access to workforce benefits like WIOA, WOTC, OJT, and Apprenticeships.
